Smarter SmartSense
The 2nd generation of our system of intelligent lights and radar is better than ever. The headlight is smaller, yet much brighter – up to 800 lumens (400 for STVZO countries), the radar and taillight are neatly integrated under the seat, and the battery – now hidden neatly in the downtube - has more than double the capacity of the previous version for up to 24 hours of run time.
Big Ride Rubber
Best-in-class clearance for tires with a maximum measured width of up to 48mm in the front and 42mm in the rear - with at least 4mm of extra clearance on each side - makes Synapse a true, ride-longer, ride-whatever kind of road bike.

StashPort + StashBag
StashPort is our downtube storage system, accessed beneath the water bottle cage. StashPort holds tools, snacks, and other ride essentials in the specially designed StashBag, and on SmartSense-equipped bikes, houses the system battery (which also provides a cool, glovebox-style light when StashPort cover is opened).
D-Lightful
The D-shaped design of Synapse’s seatpost enhances aerodynamics and boosts vertical compliance, reducing muscle fatigue so that you stay fresher on those longer days.
Fly Delta
The unique-to-Cannondale, V-shaped Delta Steerer keeps your cockpit tidy and cables routed internally, while reducing headtube frontal area for drag-reducing aero gains.
Lights
The headlight is small yet powerful, turning night into day with up to 800 lumens. A daylight function keeps you safe, while its stem-mounted design keeps the cockpit clean.
Radar
The rear radar watches your back, alerting you to approaching vehicles so you can ride with ease.
Battery
Neatly integrated into the downtube, the battery powers lights, radar, and shifting, providing up to 24 hours in flashing mode or over 12 hours in steady mode.
