Overview
Want a complete bike? We'll build your RS in our Dorking workshop around Shimano Di2 or SRAM AXS, with the wheels and finishing kit you prefer, and set it up to your fit. Pop in, call or message us to talk it through.

The RS is the lightest and most aerodynamic road bike Edelsten has ever developed, and every detail is engineered without compromise for maximum performance. It's stiff, fast and precise for long days, hard climbs and race efforts, and it's still set up around you.

Race approved
The RS isn't a theoretical concept. It's a race-proven tool at the highest level. In 2025, Edelsten team rider Philip Handl won the legendary Race Across The Alps on it: 539 km and 12,600 m of climbing in one of the toughest one-day races in the world.
On test
German magazine RennRad put the RS through a full test and called it an agile, aerodynamic and extremely light road bike with a top-quality build. Read the review (in German).
Carbon technology: performance, layer by layer
The RS frame is made from carefully selected UD fibres and high-modulus Toray T1100 carbon, EPS-moulded for clean, consistent walls. The interlaced layup tunes stiffness and comfort exactly where they matter: the frame responds directly when you accelerate, yet stays composed and controlled over long distances.
Custom paint: Edelsten 3D Paint Studio
Every Edelsten is painted to order in Austria, Germany or Italy and assembled in Cham, Germany, so a one-off finish is part of the deal rather than an afterthought. Choose Custom paint (3D Paint Studio) in the colour options above (+£509, equivalent to Edelsten's €600 surcharge) and design your frame on a live 3D model:
How it works
1) Open the Edelsten 3D Paint Studio and create your design. 2) Click "Save design" to get your design code (for example ED-RS-XXXXXX). 3) Order the custom paint option here and email the code to us, or bring it into the shop, and we'll confirm everything with Edelsten before your frame goes into paint.
Prefer a signature finish? Raw Carbon / Oil Slick Chrome and Pearlwhite / Oil Slick Chrome are available at the standard price.
