Built around you.
Every part chosen.
A custom build starts with how you ride and ends with a bike that feels like it was always yours. We fit you first, then choose the frame, every component, the paint and the finishing details with you — and hand it over set up, torqued and road-tested.

Bike fit
Everything starts with you, not the bike. Before a single part is ordered we fit you properly, so the frame size, cockpit and contact points are decided by your body and your riding — not by a size chart.
We look at flexibility, riding history, any niggles or old injuries, and what you want the bike to do: long days in the saddle, racing, gravel adventures or trail riding. The result is a set of target numbers that the rest of the build is designed around.
What we measure
Saddle height and setback, reach and stack, hip and knee angles, foot and cleat position, and how you move on the bike under load.
What you get
Your target stack and reach, crank length, bar width and drop, stem length and saddle position — the blueprint for every decision that follows.
Already fitted?
Bring your existing fit data and we will review it with you. If you haven't been fitted, our Expert Bike Fitting (£250) is booked separately from your build. Custom Sidas insoles are also available.

Frame selection
With your fit numbers in hand, we shortlist frames that genuinely match your geometry and your riding — then talk through the character of each one.
Stiffness, compliance, aero profile, tyre clearance, mounts for bags and mudguards, and how cables are routed all shape the ride and the rest of the build. A fully integrated cockpit, for example, narrows the bar and stem options later, so we decide these things together now.

Frameset or complete
Most custom builds start from a bare frameset. Where a complete bike is close to right, we can start there and swap the parts that matter.
Ride before you decide
Where we have a demo in your size, take it out. Feeling a frame on the road beats any spec sheet.
Going further · Custom paint
Make it unmistakably yours
Paint is where a custom build becomes personal. Whether it is a subtle tone-on-tone finish or a full one-off design, we manage the process from first sketch to the bike leaving the booth.
Level 1
Factory custom programmes
Several of our brands let you choose colours, finishes and details at the factory — Edelsten, Terra Labs and Orbea (through its MyO programme) among them. You get a personal colourway with the original manufacturer warranty intact.
Level 2
Fully bespoke paint
A one-off design painted by hand. We brief the painter with you, review digital mock-ups and colour samples, and coordinate the frame from strip to clear coat.
Level 3
The details
Your name or a date on the top tube, colour-matched decals, anodised hardware and chainrings from Wolf Tooth, and bar tape, cages and saddle chosen to tie the whole bike together.
Finishes
Gloss, matte, satin, metallic flake, pearlescent, fades, raw carbon windows and contrasting logos.
Timing
Bespoke paint typically adds around 8 weeks to a build. We will give you a realistic date before anything is committed.
Protect it
Every custom finish deserves a ceramic coat or frame wrap — see Care & protection below.

Components
The groupset is the heart of how the bike shifts, brakes and feels. We match it to your terrain, your budget and how you like to ride — then go further with boutique upgrades where they make a real difference.
Electronic or mechanical, 1x or 2x, gearing for different terrain and setups from racing to bikepacking: we work out the ratios you actually need, then choose crank length from your fit and add a power meter if you train with data.
Groupsets
Shimano
Dura-Ace, Ultegra and 105 Di2 for road, GRX for gravel, XT and XTR for the trail. Precise, quiet and dependable.
Shop Shimano ↗SRAM
Red, Force and Rival AXS wireless for road, XPLR for gravel, Eagle Transmission for mountain bikes. Clean builds with no shift cables.
Shop SRAM ↗Campagnolo
Super Record and Record for road, Ekar for gravel. Italian craftsmanship and a shift feel all of its own.

Wheels
Wheels are the single biggest upgrade to how a bike rides. They change how it accelerates, holds speed, handles crosswinds and soaks up rough roads.
We pick rim depth for where and how you ride, internal width to suit your tyres, and hubs for the engagement, sound and serviceability you want. Lighter riders on exposed roads may want a shallower front; racers might go deeper. We will explain the trade-offs honestly.
Off-the-shelf
Proven performance wheelsets from ENVE, Zipp, Reserve, HUNT, Vision, Shimano, Overfast, ERE Research and Terra Labs, matched to your frame and tyre choice.
Hand-built
Choose your rims and hubs and have them laced with Berd polyethylene spokes — remarkably light, with a damped, comfortable ride feel. Every wheel is built, tensioned and trued by hand in our workshop.

Tyres
Tyres are your only contact with the ground. The right casing, width and tread does more for comfort, grip and speed than almost any other choice.
We match width to your rims and frame clearance, choose a casing for the balance of speed and puncture protection you want, and pick a tread for your surfaces — smooth tarmac, mixed gravel or proper mud. Almost every build we do is set up tubeless.
Road
Fast, supple clinchers and tubeless tyres from Continental, Vittoria, Schwalbe, Hutchinson, ENVE and Zipp — plus Silca's RCR for the ultimate ride feel.
Gravel & trail
Schwalbe, Vittoria, Continental, Hutchinson and Silca RCG treads chosen for your local terrain, from fast-rolling file tread to aggressive knobs.
Tubeless setup
Reserve Fillmore valves as standard: they flow more air and resist clogging with sealant. Paired with Muc-Off and Silca sealants, and fitted and seated properly in the workshop.

Cockpit & saddle
Your hands and your seat carry you for every kilometre. This is where the bike fit turns into real parts.
Bar width, reach and drop, stem length and angle all come straight from your fit numbers. We will talk through integrated one-piece cockpits against separate bar and stem — cleaner looks and aero gains versus easier adjustment later. Saddles are personal, so we look at your sit-bone width, your position on the bike and the shapes you have liked before.

Finishing touches
The details that tie the whole bike together and make it unmistakably yours.
Bar tape
Grip, cushioning and colour. Silca, Fizik, Prologo and Deda tapes chosen to match your paint, saddle and the way you hold the bars.
Bottle cages
Secure, light and good-looking: Silca, ENVE and more, with side-entry options for smaller frames and gravel bikes.
Titanium bolts
Swap the steel fittings for titanium from Ti-Parts and Silca. They're lighter, won't corrode, and can be colour-matched to your paint and components.
Custom bags
Frame, top-tube and saddle bags sized to your frame and chosen to suit your colours, whether you're commuting, touring or bikepacking. From Apidura, Restrap and more.

Care & protection
A custom bike deserves to look as good in five years as it does on day one. Before handover, we protect the finish with a ceramic coat, a frame wrap, or both.
We'll recommend the right protection for your paint finish and how you ride. A gravel bike that lives in the mud needs different protection from a summer road bike.
Ceramic coat
A hard, hydrophobic layer bonded to the paint. It resists UV fade, road grime and fine scratches, deepens gloss on shiny finishes, and makes cleaning far quicker. It suits matte finishes too. Ask us for a price for your bike.
Frame & fork
The painted surfaces coated and cured before the build. Ideal for most road and gravel bikes.
Complete bike
Frame and fork, plus wheels, cockpit, cranks and painted components, so the whole bike sheds dirt and water.
Frame wrap · by RideWrap
We fit RideWrap protection kits. They're made from Lotus Pro 10, a thick, clear film with a self-healing surface (light scuffs fade with warmth) and a ceramic-infused, hydrophobic top coat that sheds water, mud and grime. It comes in a gloss or matte finish to suit your paint and is guaranteed for 10 years against yellowing and cracking. Film is applied before the build, so every edge sits cleanly under cables and components.

Final setup
The last step is the one that makes it ride right. Every bolt is torqued to spec, every gear indexed, and every contact point set to your fit — then we hand it over properly.
Tyre pressure
We set your pressures from your weight, tyre width, rim width and the surfaces you ride, and write them down so you can repeat them at home.
Maintenance advice
How to clean the bike, which lube to use and when, how to check your chain for wear, and the service intervals that will keep it running like new.
Tubeless care
When to top up sealant (usually every few months), how to clean valve cores, and how to use a plug kit at the roadside — so a puncture never ends your ride.
App connectivity & tuition
Connected components are paired to your phone and computer: electronic groupsets, power meters, bike computers and lights. We walk you through the apps and features, set up your shifting and data screens, install the latest firmware, and show you how to keep everything updated.
Test ride
Take it out with us before it goes home. We fine-tune anything that does not feel right before you ride away.
Free first check-up
After your first few weeks of ownership, we'll invite you back in for a complimentary coffee while we run through your bike. As the parts bed in, we check and adjust everything so it keeps working perfectly.
