105 12-speed cassette
Shimano 105 CS-R7101-12 12-Speed Cassette 11-34T
A hard-wearing 12-speed 11-34T cassette for 105 Di2 and mechanical 105 bikes, also specified for GRX 2x. It gives a 1:1-ish climbing gear with a compact chainset while keeping single-tooth steps at the top.
Highlights
Why we rate it
One cassette, both 105 groups
The R7101 revision is specified for both 105 Di2 (R7150) and mechanical 105 (R7100) rear derailleurs.
Hyperglide+ shifting
Profiled teeth and ramps help the chain change gear smoothly even when you shift under pressure on a climb.
Alloy carrier for the big cogs
The largest sprockets ride on a lightweight aluminium carrier, which trims weight and stiffens the block.
Climbing-friendly range
11-34T pairs well with 50-34T or 52-36T chainsets for steep lanes and long alpine passes.
Easy wheel fitting
Mounts on Shimano 12-speed and conventional 11-speed road freehub bodies.
