Highlights
Why we rate it
Lower pressures, less worry
Run softer for traction on loose surfaces without the rim bottoming out on rocks.
Steadier cornering
The foam supports the tyre sidewall and bead, reducing squirm when leaning the bike over.
Puncture back-up
Keeps the tyre seated if you lose air, so you can ride out to somewhere safe.
