Since 2018 the Palta has stood for versatility. Palta III raises lateral stiffness, sharpens aerodynamics and adds compliance, with more tyre clearance, internal storage and refined geometry.

Performance re-engineered
At 970g, Palta III is Basso's lightest gravel platform. A reworked layup improves power transfer and handling, and road-bike aero research cuts frontal area by 18%.
Best-ever stiffness
Basso's stiffest gravel bottom bracket and dropout area for efficient power transfer when the pace rises.
Versatility and comfort
Wider tyres at lower pressures add grip and smooth out long days; more sloping geometry exposes more seatpost.
Diamante seatpost and 3B Clamp
An integrated system that absorbs shock and vibration, with two seatpost setbacks to tune your position.

Strato stem with carbon gravel bar, or the Fuga or Levita integrated carbon cockpits.

UK builds are offered with a choice of the Strato stem and gravel bar or the Fuga integrated cockpit.
Strato stem and gravel bar
For maximum comfort and technical riding: -8° Strato stem in six lengths, compatible with all Basso Ecosystem accessories.
Fuga integrated
Optimised for an aero position and narrower shoulders. 300g, 1° back and down sweep, and a short 65mm reach for lever integration.
Levita integrated
A more classic shape with bar tape integration, in 10 stem length and width combinations. 330g. Available on request.
Storage and protection
Invisible storage. Visible resilience.
Internal downtube storage holds your essentials in two dedicated bags behind a colour-matched carbon cover with a Fidlock magnetic lock.

Two bags fit inside the downtube, secured by a carbon cover and Fidlock magnetic closure.
Vibram x Basso
A custom Vibram bash guard protects the downtube from rock strikes.
Apidura x Basso
A collection of bespoke Apidura packs made for the Palta III, with hidden top-tube bag mounts and three bottle positions.
UDH ready
Universal Derailleur Hanger for full compatibility with the latest full-mount derailleurs.
Microtech Solid Oil bearings
Headset bearings that last around three times longer than traditional bearings.
