Shimano XTR PD-M9220 SPD Enduro Pedals
Shimano's flagship trail and enduro clipless pedal, rebuilt around a bigger raised platform with adjustable pins so it gives flat-pedal-like support when you're unclipped. It ships with the new CL-MT001 cleat, which lets you clip in by stepping straight down.

Larger contact area
The platform is noticeably wider than the M9120's, giving more shoe support and control on rough descents.
Raised platform with pins
Four height-adjustable pins per side bite into the sole for grip whether clipped in or not.
Multi-direction engagement
The included CL-MT001 cleat has a rounder nose so it engages from a straight-down or heel-first step, and it still works with any SPD pedal.
Improved sealing
Revised cup-and-cone bearings and seals replace the older rubber seal for better durability.
Adjustable release tension
Spring tension can be set to suit your riding.
