Flagship carbon ICLIC road pedal
Time XPRO 12 SL ICLIC Road Pedals
Time's lightest road pedal pairs a carbon-filled body with a hollow titanium spindle and ceramic bearings, coming in at under 90g a side. The pre-opened ICLIC mechanism makes clipping in quick, and three Q-factor widths help with fit.
Highlights
Why we rate it
Hollow titanium spindle
The titanium axle saves weight over steel versions while keeping the same stiff platform.
Ceramic bearings
Ceramic bearings run with very little drag and are the main upgrade over the XPRO 12.
Pre-opened ICLIC entry
The retention is held open until the cleat presses in, so engagement takes very little force.
Three Q-factor options
Narrow, regular and wide spindles (51, 53 and 57mm) let riders tune stance width.
Carbon blade tension
Three blade positions adjust how firmly the cleat is held.
Float built into the system
Free cleats give 5 degrees of angular float plus lateral float to ease knee strain.
