Quick-detach cargo cages
Old Man Mountain FLiP Cages (Pair)
A pair of moulded nylon cages that work two ways: as quick-release mounts for FLiP-compatible bags, or with their removable feet as general cargo cages for dry bags and bottles.
Highlights
Why we rate it
Fast Lock in Place
FLiP bags hook on and twist to lock, so a bag comes off in seconds without unstrapping anything.
Cargo cage too
Fit the removable cargo feet and the same cages carry dry bags, bottles or other strapped loads.
Swap without tools
Change between bags and bottles mid-trip without replacing the mounts.
Secure and quiet
Rugged injection-moulded nylon holds loads firmly without rattling.
Fitting
Compatibility
Fits standard 3-pack mounts on forks and frames, the legs of the Old Man Mountain Elkhorn rack and the OMM Axle Pack. Works with FLiP-compatible bags such as the Hemlock, or with standard bags and bottles using the cargo feet. Cargo straps are sold separately.
