Road Reimagined

Real World Performance

Designed to go fast, built to go long, and made to keep you comfortable, the LAB71 Synapse takes all-around road performance to the next level. With a sub-1000-gram Hi-MOD frame, featuring wind tunnel-sculpted aero tubing, exceptional stiffness-to-weight, and a silky ride, it’s a bike that’s ready for anything you demand of it. Proven by Lachlan Morton on his record-smashing lap of Australia, Unreal speed, engineered for real-world roads.

Ride Confident

More visibility, more awareness, more integration, with our next-gen SmartSense system. All running from a single concealed battery. Intelligent lights adapt to let other road users know you’re there. While the rear-facing Garmin radar keeps you switched on to approaching traffic. Letting you ride the bike that’s up for anything, whatever time of day or night.

Compliant Comfort

With advancements in our carbon layup, our engineers have made the new Synapse 20% more compliant than its already butter-smooth predecessor, ensuring you feel 100% more comfortable even on the roughest roads.

Like A Glove

A great fit and feel makes for a great ride. And with our Proportional Response Construction, every rider gets that as standard. From the carbon layup through to the geometry, everything on Synapse has been tuned and tested by frame size. So that your bike works in harmony with you to give the best possible ride for you and your height.

Bring it all, bring it on

Our all-new StashPort storage system in the downtube is there when you need it and hidden when you don’t. Paired with its StashBag buddy, you can bring along your ride essentials and know that they’ll be secure, whatever you get up to out there. Meanwhile, best-in-class tire clearance lets you take the idea of riding for longer to a whole new level.

Big Ride Rubber

Best-in-class clearance for tires with a maximum measured width of up to 48mm in the front and 42mm in the rear - with at least 4mm of extra clearance on each side - makes Synapse a true, ride-longer, ride-whatever kind of road bike.

More, from less.

The LAB71 and Synapse 1 get a refined, performance-boosting, Hi-MOD carbon layup that shaves over 100 grams off the frame weight, while maintaining Synapse's stiffness, ride-feel, durability, and lifetime warranty.

Proportional Response

Tuned for the rider, our size-specific construction creates optimal stiffness and compliance for each and every frame size in the Synapse range.

StashPort + StashBag

StashPort is our downtube storage system, accessed beneath the water bottle cage. StashPort holds tools, snacks, and other ride essentials in the specially designed StashBag, and on SmartSense-equipped bikes, houses the system battery (which also provides a cool, glovebox-style light when StashPort cover is opened).
