Highlights
Why we rate it
Bright, sharp display
The 1,000-nit 3.5-inch screen stays readable in direct sun, and its higher resolution makes maps much easier to read at a glance.
Speaker and bike bell
A built-in speaker gives spoken turn prompts and alerts, and also works as an electronic bell.
Road hazard alerts
Riders can flag potholes, debris or closures, and other Edge 1050 users get warned when they approach the same spot.
Garmin Pay
You can pay for café stops by tapping the head unit, so there's no need to carry a card.
Coaching and ClimbPro
Adaptive Garmin Cycling Coach plans, Power Guide and ClimbPro help you pace training and long climbs.
