A clamp designed for bicycle repair stands to hold your bike securely and safely. Modern carbon and aero frames are designed to go fast, not to be clamped in a workstand – Hirobel is safe on paint and on carbon.
Workstand pressure clamps were developed for round steel tubing more than 40 years ago, before carbon, aluminium, aero and oversized tubes, integrated seatmasts, dropper posts and suspension. When tubing is not round and straight, a traditional clamp puts very high point loads at its edges, which can damage the finish, damage the carbon layup inside, or crush the lightest tubes.
With Hirobel, specially shaped, paint-friendly cones and bindings cradle the frame at the tube intersections, where walls are thicker and forces spread over a much larger area. It adapts to any frame design, lets you position the stand clamp closer to the bike's centre of gravity (more stability, no bouncing during heavier work) and holds the drivetrain consistently higher for better visibility and less back strain.
