Others do gravel, we do Palta
While others tried to define gravel, Basso marked its own path with a bike true to its racing DNA. #WeDoPalta

Adventure meets performance
Fast enough to race, comfortable and capable enough for long days off the beaten track.

Proven geometry
Only minor changes to the extremely versatile Palta geometry, which balances stability with quick handling.

Made in Italy
Designed and finished by Basso in Italy.
Geometry and design
Refined where it matters
The Palta keeps everything riders loved about the first version and improves it where possible.

More sloping
Increased sloping exposes more seatpost, adding flex and comfort.

Taller head tube
Fewer spacers and more comfort – but racers can still slam the stem flush for a lower stack.

Fork design
Distinctive fork-leg geometry gives precise handling and damps vibration, with extra space for airflow and clearance.

Bags and bottles
Hidden top-tube bolts for compatible bags and three bottle-cage positions.
Integration
Strato Integration System
Full cable integration that works with all disc groupsets – 1x and 2x, electronic and mechanical.

Light steering
Cables are routed so even mechanical groupsets with a front derailleur keep the steering light and precise.

Practical
The Strato stem stays cable-free, so it can be removed or swapped without disconnecting anything – easier travel, maintenance and fit changes.

3B Clamp System Gen 2
A hidden, vulcanised three-bolt seatpost clamp that adds an anti-vibration effect on rough surfaces.

Basso gravel handlebar
Developed for off-road comfort, with a slimmer section for 4.5mm bar tape and ergonomics refined for every hand position.

Sachet Instructions
1. Grab your empty old bottle of Muc-Off. (You may need a pair of adjustable pliers to remove the trigger from the bottle). Or purchase our Bottle for Life.
2. Fill up to the shoulders of the bottle with 1 litre of lukewarm water for faster formula activation!
3. Carefully cut one corner of the sachet open along the diagonal cut lines.
4. You can carefully pour the sachet straight into the top of the bottle. Or using the box, fold the inside of the lid together using the printed lines as a guide and use this as a funnel to pour the powder into your bottle. (Please see our video for full instructions on this.
5. Screw your spray trigger back onto the top of the bottle. Ensure it’s tight!
6. Shake the bottle vigorously for 30-60 seconds to activate the formula. If you notice any undissolved powder simply keep shakin’ it!
7. Go clean that filthy bike!
