The Edelsten RX is for riders who don't want to choose between road, gravel and adventure. With clearance for up to 55 mm tyres at the front and 53 mm at the rear, it combines the speed of a modern allroad bike with the control and versatility of an uncompromising gravel bike.

For 2026 the carbon layup has been completely reworked to cut weight while improving efficiency and ride quality. Optimised aerodynamics add speed on long tarmac stretches, and the generous clearance handles demanding trails and loose surfaces with ease. Whether it's a quick evening loop, a gravel race, a bikepacking trip or an Alpine crossing, the RX doesn't do categories. It only knows the next line.

Everything on board, cleanly integrated

The redesigned down-tube storage compartment has more room for tools, a spare tube and food. Additional mounting points open up options for bottles, bags and accessories, ideal for long days in the saddle and multi-day tours. Cables are fully integrated, and the UDH hanger keeps the frame ready for the latest drivetrains.

Run it as a fast allroad bike on narrower tyres, or fit up to 55 mm up front and 53 mm out back for rough gravel and off-road sections. From gravel races to rocky tracks, you choose the tyre the ride calls for.

Carbon technology: performance, layer by layer

The RX frame is made from carefully selected UD fibres and high-modulus Toray T1100 carbon, EPS-moulded for clean, consistent walls. The interlaced layup tunes stiffness and comfort exactly where they matter: the frame responds directly when you accelerate, yet stays composed and controlled over long distances.

Custom paint: Edelsten 3D Paint Studio

Every Edelsten is painted to order in Austria, Germany or Italy and assembled in Cham, Germany, so a one-off finish is part of the deal rather than an afterthought. Choose Custom paint (3D Paint Studio) in the colour options above (+£509, equivalent to Edelsten's €600 surcharge) and design your frame on a live 3D model:

• Frame colour: any colour you like
• Finish: gloss, satin, matt, metallic, pearl or raw carbon
• Logos: silver, chrome, Oil Slick or any colour, in gloss or matt

How it works: 1) Open the Edelsten 3D Paint Studio and create your design. 2) Click "Save design" to get your design code (for example ED-RX-XXXXXX). 3) Order the custom paint option here and email the code to us, or bring it into the shop, and we'll confirm everything with Edelsten before your frame goes into paint.

Prefer the standard look? Silver Metallic / Chrome and Maroon Carbon / Chrome are available at the standard price.
