Orbea Orca
Praise the light
Orca is Orbea's lightweight carbon climbing bike. Orbea quotes 6.7kg for the M10i LTD build, and says the frame is light where it can be and stiff where it needs to be.

Pure light
Weight comes down through attention to detail. Orbea quotes about 745g for an OMX frame and 1,030g for an OMR frame, with 15g of coating, 25g of paint and 40g of hardware.
OMX carbon
Orbea's lightest, stiffest layup, used only on its top performance racing frames.
OMR carbon
The second level of carbon: much of the rigidity and strength of OMX for riders who do not need the ultimate in low weight.

Minimal design
A minimalist seat clamp and derailleur hangers save weight and look clean.

Focus on the shapes
Tube junctions are shaped to remove sharp corners where excess epoxy would collect, cutting weight.
Fewer overlaps
The OMX frame uses fewer carbon pieces and fewer overlaps, which Orbea says saves almost 300g with no change in rigidity.

Aero in the details
The fork and seatpost clamp are shaped to reduce drag without adding weight.
Components
Lightweight components
Parts are chosen for the way they ride as well as their weight.

OC SH-RA10 integrated cockpit
Light, aerodynamic and fully internally routed. Orbea quotes 313g.

OC RP11 handlebar
A stiff, strong carbon bar. Orbea quotes 190g.

OQUO RA57 LTD wheels
A 57mm carbon rim for an aero, lightweight balance, with the Q10 hub.

OQUO RP45 LTD wheels
A 45mm carbon rim balancing aerodynamics and weight.

OQUO RP35 LTD wheels
A 35mm carbon rim, the lightest and stiffest option for climbers.

OQUO Q10 hub
45-tooth, 8° engagement ratchet with ceramic treatment, available on selected LTD wheelsets.
Stiffness and ride
Stiff where it counts, light where it matters
Orbea set a target rigidity first, then made the frame as light as possible without going below it.

Size-tuned stiffness
The carbon layup changes with frame size so every Orca feels the same to ride.

Powerspine
The lower spine of the frame carries most of the twisting and lateral loads and passes power to the rear wheel.

Compliant but efficient
Slim round tubes give compliance on rough roads while the Powerspine keeps pedalling efficient.

Versatile tyre clearance
Clearance for 32C tyres.

Balanced handling
A shorter wheelbase for responsiveness, size-specific fork trail for control, and racing ergonomics.

Sachet Instructions
1. Grab your empty old bottle of Muc-Off. (You may need a pair of adjustable pliers to remove the trigger from the bottle). Or purchase our Bottle for Life.
2. Fill up to the shoulders of the bottle with 1 litre of lukewarm water for faster formula activation!
3. Carefully cut one corner of the sachet open along the diagonal cut lines.
4. You can carefully pour the sachet straight into the top of the bottle. Or using the box, fold the inside of the lid together using the printed lines as a guide and use this as a funnel to pour the powder into your bottle. (Please see our video for full instructions on this.
5. Screw your spray trigger back onto the top of the bottle. Ensure it’s tight!
6. Shake the bottle vigorously for 30-60 seconds to activate the formula. If you notice any undissolved powder simply keep shakin’ it!
7. Go clean that filthy bike!
